ABOUT US

ADAMAS DIAMOND CONSULTANTS IS ONE OF A SMALL NUMBER OF TOTALLY INDEPENDENT DIAMOND VALUING AND CONSULTING COMPANIES AND SPECIALISES IN OFFERING ITS CLIENTS A BESPOKE PACKAGE OF DIAMOND VALUING AND CONSULTING SOLUTIONS ACROSS THEIR BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT.

MANAGEMENT AND SHAREHOLDING

ADAMAS Diamond Consultants was formed in June 2013.With its primary focus in Africa.

The company is a 51/49% shareholding between two shareholders namely Tshepho Compton (Botswana) and Guy Compton (British).

Guy has 43yrs experience in the diamond business and has worked in all spheres of the Industry during this time. Tshepho has over 15yrs in IT and Retail Management. Both Directors possess broad and fully comprehensive curriculum vitae, covering all aspects of the diamond business, IT and statistical modelling

The complimentary attributes of the two Shareholder/Directors are used to maximum advantage and has resulted in ADAMAS being recognised as one of the top diamond valuing companies.

HUMAN RESOURCES

​

At present Adamas has both Directors working full time and when needed they can source highly skilled technicians if the workload increases.

STRATEGIC ALLIANCES

​

Adamas Diamond Consultants have formed a partnership alliance with IES Consulting in Antwerp, forming African Diamond logistics Ltd. This enables them to enjoy full access to the Antwerp and worldwide markets. This is a vital asset when considering marketing arrangements including tendering and advice and recommendations for long term strategy and planning. Pertinent aspects such as down streaming and Kimberley process compliance can also be accommodated.

MARKET FOCUS

​

Whilst servicing both Government and private institutions, the bulk of Adamas’s projects to date have been with the private mining sector.

​

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE

​

Adamas strategic objective is to work in close collaboration and consultation with its clients, at all stages in the valuation and auditing pipeline, before and during the operational phase of a mining project. This is with the consensual view, to maximise the full potential of the product.

MAJOR PROJECTS

​

CAMUTUE

We have been engaged by TECMAD since the first bulk sampling from the CAMUTUE mine. Supplying valuation and consulting expertise from core sample testing, right through to final sales and marketing.

​

SOCIEDADE MINEIRA DO CUANGO

We are contracted to supply a full valuation/consultancy service to the CUANGO project in Angola.

 

SOCIEDADE MINEIRA DO CALONDA

We are contracted to supply a full valuation /consultancy service for the CALONDA mine operated by SM Calonda

 

SOCIEDADE MINEIRA DO LUMINAS

We are contracted to supply a full valuation /consultancy service for the LUMINAS project in Angola.

 

SOMIPA TRADING

We were engaged as Consultants/ Valuers by SOMIPA TRADING to manage their artisanal buying operation in Angola. Offices were set up in Luanda and Calonda and the shipments sold in Antwerp and Dubai.

 

LIPARI MINERACAO LTDA

Adamas are involved with the valuation and marketing contract for the Brauna diamond mine project in Brazil

    

BOTSWANA

Guy was employed by DIAVAL as a Government Valuer for the Botswana Government for 13 years. He was involved in the valuation and sale of all the country’s mine productions, with diamonds ranging from Special Stones in excess of 300 carats down to the smallest sieve fractions. Production in 2010 was 32 million carats for $ 3.1 billion.

 

CATOCA

We have supplied valuation services to the Catoca mine.

 

MIBA

We were engaged as an arbitrator in case of a breakdown in negotiations between Miba mine and EMAXON the buyer.

ITM MINING

Adamas were engaged by ITM for more than ten years in Angola and have worked on their Calonda, Mufuto and Chitotolo projects.

​

SOCIEDADE MINEIRA DO LUCAPA

We were engaged by SML in Angola for over ten years and supplied this client with a similar package to ITM.
